YOUR MISSION…SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT:
SPEND THE SUMMER OUTSIDE AS A FAMILY AND GET
TO KNOW THE NATURE OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS!

Nature Challenge 2009: Accept the challenge and reconnect your family to our local environment!

Teams have eight weeks to visit as many participating parks and
nature areas in Southeast Texas as possible. Mission Benefits: view
native plants and wildlife; dip your feet in creeks, rivers, and the Gulf;
draw, photograph, or write about your observations; and learn more
about nature and science in your neighborhoods!

At each site you will complete activities designed for family fun and
nature exploration provided in English and Spanish. The family with the
most completed Missions wins the GRAND PRIZE to be awarded at
the closing ceremonies on Saturday, August 8th from 2:00 – 5:00
p.m. at Sims Bayou Urban Nature Center.
