Step 6: Compress Pine Straw

Pull the plunger back over and compress the straw a couple of time. Use your leg to hold the lever and put continued pressure on the bale. Give the strings several tugs while working it back and forth. Cut off the excess and tie the two ends together. Repeat for the other side.
